About GamedevSalary.com

Salary information in the games industry is fragmented, paywalled, or buried in PDF reports. GamedevSalary.com exists to make it explorable: one place where a game developer can see what their role actually pays — by experience, region, and seniority — with every number labeled by where it came from.

The site is independent, free to use, and carries no ads. It is built and run by a single developer, funded out of pocket. The dataset combines an annual community salary survey, live anonymous submissions from visitors, and cited aggregate figures from public industry reports — see the methodology for exactly how the numbers are computed.

Contribute

The most valuable thing you can do is submit your salary — it takes under a minute, is fully anonymous, and directly improves the data for the next person in your role. Roles marked "model estimate" are the ones that need reports most.

Support the site

GamedevSalary.com stays free and ad-free. If it helped you land a better offer, you can support it with a small donation via Ko-fi or Buy Me a Coffee — it covers hosting and keeps the data independent. Studios and tools can also sponsor the project.
